Charlie Bright is a development engineer and IP creator. He earned his BSME from MIT in 1979 and MSME from UW Seattle in 1984. His experience includes steam turbine-generator crack remediation, anti-tank missile system integration, jetliner flight test, qualifying 5,000 psi (35 MPa) crack-resistant jetliner hydraulic tubing, and developing crack-resistant, robust and durable terfenol-d actuators. Applying the latter to directly operate a diesel fuel injector needle yielded the Bright Principle.
